Weekly Activities:
Week 2:
We are asked to create AR Journey map, basically we are required to pick 1
task (ex: going to the cinema) and then highlight the pain-point, from
buying the ticket to watching the movie. Based from this activities I learned that, not everyone is familiar with AR, so during this activities there are some miscommunication with what we are told to do.
Week 4:
On this week we are finally using unity. and for the introduction part we are asked to create the object identifier, basically when the camera (our smartphone) detect certain card or image, then there would be some object that shows up (the object is based from our scripting). I Think this activities is quite fun and not that hard to do.
Week 5:
For this week we are shown on how to create UI on unity, This progress is quite simple and not as hard as i thought, on this week we are also shown on how to create more layout on unity.
Task 1
This task will help us identify platform strengths, technical limitations, and start generating ideas for our final project.
To explore
current AR trends and
develop an understanding of how
marker-based,
markerless, and
location-based AR
experiences work.
This task will help us identify platform strengths, technical limitations, and start generating ideas for our final project.
We need to come up with 3 ideas, these 3 ideas can be draft. or in
other word we can change what we want to create for our final project.
For our proposal we need to include a visual reference.
More Details:
1. Research & Exploration
Reflect on the trending AR experiences you have explored.
- Discuss what you found inspiring, surprising, or valuable.
2. Weekly Reflections on Class Activities and Exercises
Share your thoughts and learning from each week’s activities and exercises.
- Reflect on how these activities helped you understand AR better.
3. Proposal of 3 AR Project Ideas
For each idea, include:
- A clear problem statement.
- Your proposed solution.
- Mock visuals or sketches to help explain your idea (similar to the Kitchen AR exercise example).
